Remote based (must be able to attend events in London) - Part-Time | Paid

REDDI is on a mission to disrupt the dating industry by being the first exclusive members-only dating app on the market which uses attachment theory to match members who want healthy relationships, and family. 

Recently launched and onto our first bootstrap round, we’ve already hit the headlines.  But we are small, and at times none of us know what we are doing (so expect full start-up mode!).

We believe that as orchestrators of relationships, we also need to be socially responsible.  Poor mental health outcomes are increasing, and we’ve seen a rise in solo mums by choice, and single lonely men.  Something is going wrong, and we want to be the thought leaders behind changing that: not just for our current generations, but the many more to come.

The Vision…

REDDI’s guiding light, is to help people find healthy non-toxic love and family, in the most efficient and enjoyable way. We weave in some science, and intimacy creating an exclusive experience that comes to life both on and off the app.

Our app is just the tip of the iceberg, and we have big dreams to create more products and experiences, both digital and in real life.

The Role…

 

REDDI is looking for someone to come on board as both a Matchmaker and an Events Extraordinaire to help us match members within the REDDI Community and assist with the execution of all live events in London (and further afar in the future).

This role will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of all events from conceptualisation stages to final product and everything in between (including operational admin and support on the day – hence the need to be able to get into London).  This would be for both our REDDI Social and REDDI Match offerings – so think not only community wide events, but also more intimate and immersive experience catered specifically for those wanting that extra exclusive matchmaking experience. 

As a successful Matchmaker you will be required to study our members’ profiles and preferences to find them their perfect matches, using both science and instinct whilst focusing on longer term compatibility as well as bringing back the ‘fun’ in dating.

The role will report directly to the CEO, with whom they will work closely to ensure we match our members successfully, and welcome member feedback to ensure we keep a personal touch and the magic alive throughout the entire experience.

We want someone who is down-to-earth, kind, and humble who loves delivering awesome work!
 

What you’ll do…

  • Have sole responsibility for executing events, including co-ordination, logistics, comms, and any third-party vendor partnerships

  • Pitch ideas to the wider team, sourcing venues and event partners

  • Curate event guest lists, including member communications/questions 

  • Write, design, and produce all marketing copy, including invites and promotional materials

  • Trouble shoot any problems leading up to and during any event (including being onsite for events)

  • Managing event deadlines, timelines, and deliverables

  • Review profiles and match people from our database, based on a variety of compatibility criteria

  • REDDI Match member liaison including date planning, execution, and feedback post-date

  • Finding new and creative ways to match people, including reaching out to potential new members

  • Work closely with the CEO, and the Comms Manager

  • Attend periodic team calls

  • Support team with event data entry and administrative needs

  • Understand and maintain events budget

  • You care deeply about people, and love delivering awesome work to your clients

  • You have a keen interest in human connection, and a solid grasp of the science behind successful relationships

  • You have an eye for detail and love interacting with interesting people

  • You live close to London, so you can attend events and ad-hoc company get-togethers

  • You have excellent organisational skills, and a go getter who does not need direct supervision

  • You have great technical skills, but also strong empathy skills as you understand that this role involves bringing people together.

  • You are an awesome communicator - a friendly and approachable social butterfly with a proven ability to multi-task and problem-solve

  • Must be available in the evening and on weekends to work ad-hoc events

  • Flexible schedule; work 10-20 hours per month

  • Team player, low ego, positive energy, takes initiative, and loves what we are doing here at REDDI

  • Understands the start-up lifestyle

  • IMPORTANT: Excited by the experience!

 

Good to have:

  • Event and/or matchmaking experience

  • Strong network, but not caught up in scene – you know London inside out!

  • Keen to see where the role might go, with an openness to head up the service in the future.

  • Want to or are already building a personal brand.
