REDDI is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy, but it goes without saying that we can’t help you find the perfect person, without some information about you.
Personal data, or personal information, means any information about an individual from which that person can be identified. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data). This policy sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed, stored and disclosed by us.
REDDI DATING LIMITED (herein referred to as ‘REDDI,’ the ‘company’, ‘we’, ‘us,’ ‘our’) provides its website, www.iamreddi.com (herein ‘the site’ or ‘site’) and mobile application (herein ‘the app’ or ‘app’) and other related services, including, but not limited to, those related events, venues, locations and other in-person interactions (collectively, the ‘Service’). By submitting an application to REDDI, creating a REDDI account, or RSVPing or attending a REDDI EVENT, or otherwise using the Service in any manner whatsoever, you are deemed to have accepted and consented to the practices described in this policy.
The site, app, and Service is owned and operated by REDDI DATING LIMITED, a private limited company incorporated in England and Wales with registered company number 14119848 (REDDI).
REDDI processes personal data as a ‘Data Controller’, as defined in the Directive and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
We reserve the right to, in our sole discretion revise, change, or modify this Privacy Policy at any time. Each time we do so we will indicate at the top of the page the date of the most recent version. We encourage you to regularly check this page for the most recent version, as your continued use of the Service after the date of any such effective changes to this Privacy Policy signifies your consent and acceptance thereof. If you do not accept or agree to such changes you can terminate your account as set out in our Terms & Conditions.
The site, app, or Service may contain links to and from the websites of our partner networks, advertisers and affiliates or to websites shared by other users. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. 1. Data We Collect About You
We collect and process personal information so we can provide our services to you which includes profile information and the types of people you want to meet. It’s important that the personal data we hold about you is accurate and current. Please keep us informed if your personal data changes during your relationship with us. So, we can provide you with the best service, we also collect information as you use our Service. The types of data we collect and process about you is explained in the sections below.
We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you which we have grouped together as follows:

Identity Data includes first name, maiden name, last name, username or similar identifier, marital status, title, date of birth and gender, Instagram or LinkedIn username, home town, city of residence, list of friends currently using the app

Usage Data includes information about how you use our site, app, and service. This includes processing your conversations with other users and we may need to collect their information to facilitate the interactions you request, such as sending a message or email to a user on your behalf.

Support Data includes when you contact our support team, we collect the information you give us to we can provide the relevant support to you. We may also record part or all of the interaction for training and improving the Service.

Marketing and Communications Data includes your preferences in receiving marketing from us and our third parties and your communication preferences.
Some of the information you choose to provide us may be considered as ‘special’ or ‘sensitive’ in certain jurisdictions - for example, your racial or ethnic origins, sexual orientation and religious beliefs. By choosing to provide this information, you consent to our processing of that information.
We also collect, use and share Aggregated Data such as statistical or demographic data for any purpose. Aggregated Data could be derived from your personal data but is not considered personal data in law as this data will not directly or indirectly reveal your identity. For example, we may aggregate your Usage Data to calculate the percentage of users accessing a specific site, app or Service feature. 3. Purposes for which we will use your personal data
We may process your personal data for more than one lawful ground depending on the specific purpose for which we are using your data. We strive to provide you with choices regarding certain personal data uses, particularly around marketing and advertising.
4. Promotional Offers from REDDI
We may use your identity, contact, technical, usage and profile data to form a view on what we think you may want or need, or what may be of interest to you. This is how we decide which products, services and offers may be relevant for you (we call this ‘marketing’).
You will receive marketing communications from us if you have requested information from us or purchased products or services from us and you have not opted out of receiving that marketing.
5. Third-party marketing
We may share non-personal, non-identifiable information with third parties that perform services on our behalf or that provide promotional benefits to you as a REDDI member. These service providers and promotional partners may have access to such non-personal, non-identifiable information needed to perform their functions but are not permitted to share or use such information for any other purposes.
6. Opting out
You can ask us or third parties to stop sending you marketing messages at any time by following the opt-out links on any marketing message sent to you or by contacting us at any time. If you do not want us to use your data in this way, or to pass your details on to third parties for marketing purposes, please notify us in writing or by email at hello@iamreddi.com.
7. Change of purpose
We will only use your personal data for the purposes for which we collected it, unless we reasonably consider that we need to use it for another reason and that reason is compatible with the original purpose. If you wish to get an explanation as to how the processing for the new purpose is compatible with the original purpose, please contact us.
If we need to use your personal data for an unrelated purpose, we will notify you and we will explain the legal basis which allows us to do so.
Please note that we may process your personal data without your knowledge or consent, in compliance with the above rules, where this is required or permitted by law.
8. How We Secure Your Data
All of your personal information is protected and we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic and management procedures to safeguard and secure the data we collect. Your information is stored on secure cloud databases, internal servers, on third party software.
Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet can never be completely secure. Although we do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we use strict procedures and security features described above to try to prevent unauthorised access.
9. Financial information
As we exclusively accept payment through third party services such as Apple and Stripe, we will never ask for your credit card information and your financial details are, and will remain, secured by and subject to the applicable third party’s security and privacy policies.
10. How Long We Store Your Data For
We keep your personal information only as long as we need it for legitimate business purposes and as permitted by applicable law.
The moment you request deletion, your account, profile, and photos are taken offline and are not shown to other members. We delete or anonymise your information to protect the safety and security of our members, we implement a safety retention window of three months of your account being taken offline or after two years of continuous inactivity, unless we need it for the following purposes:

To keep it to comply with applicable law;

To evidence our compliance with applicable law;

There is an outstanding issue, claim or dispute requiring us to keep the relevant information until it is resolved; or
-
The information must be kept for our legitimate business interests, such as fraud prevention and enhancing users’ safety and security.
Disclosure to Third Parties
Parties with whom we share your information:
We require all third parties to respect the security of your personal data and to treat it in accordance with the law. We use third parties such as app developers, marketers, advertisers, analytics providers and cloud storage providers. These third parties have access to data we share with their platforms.
The only other circumstances under which we would share your personal data are:

To our professional advisers including lawyers, bankers, auditors and insurers who provide consultancy, banking, legal, insurance and accounting services.

To HM Revenue & Customs, regulators and other authorities who require reporting of processing activities in certain circumstances.

In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets.
If the company or substantially all of its assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data will be one (1) of the transferred assets and the purchaser will be permitted to use the data for the purposes for which it was originally collected by us.
If we’re under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, enforce or apply our Terms & Conditions and other agreements, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of the company, our customers, or others (including exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction).
Parties with whom you may choose to share your information:
You may choose to share any information, photographs or other content that you voluntarily submit to the site on your private account (‘profile’) (meaning other users you have invited or accepted as members of our community). Such data will become available and viewable by other users as controlled by any applicable privacy settings that you define. Once you have shared your content or made it public, that content may be re-shared by others.
You may review, modify, update, correct or remove any personal data you have submitted to the site, app or Service at any time. If you remove information that you posted to the site, app, or Service copies may remain viewable in cached and archived pages of the site, or if other users or third-party APIs have copied or saved that information.
Always think carefully before disclosing personal data or other information to other users or otherwise posting personal data on the site, app, or Service. It’s important that you’re aware that any data you choose to disclose on the site, app, or Service may then be viewed and even used by other users (in accordance with your settings and this Privacy Policy). We do not control the contents of communications made between users (although you can make a complaint about another user by contacting us using the information provided in the Contact section below).
You must respect the privacy of others and you must not disclose any personal details about other people including your family, friends, acquaintances, or other persons that may be misleading or cause them harm or offence. It is your responsibility to obtain their prior express permission in respect of any submission of their data at any time.
11. Cross-Border Data Transfers
The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the UK and European Economic Area (EEA). By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated as securely as it would be within the UK and EEA and under the GDPR. Such steps may include our entering into contracts with any third parties we engage and the use of Commission-approved Model Contractual Clauses. In addition, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, agents, contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.

Device permissions. Mobile platforms can have permission systems for specific device data such as phone contacts, pictures, location services, push notifications, and advertising identifiers. You can change these settings on your device to either consent or deny the collection or processing such information. Of course, if you do that, you may lose some service functionality.

You can stop all information collection by an app by uninstalling it using the standard uninstall process for your device. If you uninstall the app from your mobile device, the unique identifier associated with your device will continue to be stored. If you re-install the application on the same mobile device, we will be able to re-associate this identifier to your previous transactions and activities. Uninstalling an app does not NOT close your account. To close your account, please use the corresponding functionality on the service.

Our services are restricted to users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not permit users under the age of 18 on our platform and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you suspect that a user is under the age of 18, please contact us.

Because we are always looking for ways to provide you with new and innovative ways to make great connections, and ensure our explanations about our data practices remain up-to-date, this policy may change over time.
Any changes we may make to our Privacy Policy in the future will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you by email so that you have time to review. You will be deemed to have accepted the terms of the updated Privacy Policy on your first use of the Site following the alterations.
